4 Years of BlocHaus — Double the comps, double the fun!
On Saturday 26th July, we celebrated BlocHaus Climbing’s 4th birthday in style with our biggest Haus Party yet - featuring two competitions in one day, amazing food, flowing beer, banging music, and an incredible community vibe.
This year, we introduced two brand-new formats: CRUISE MODE for the casual climbers and CRUSH MODE for everyone wanting to battle it out.
CRUISE MODE
Chill vibes. Party blocs. Big laughs.
We kicked things off with Cruise Mode - a comp built around fun, casual vibes, with just a touch of chaos. The blocs this year were some of our most outrageous yet - rope swings, slackline, swinging buoys & more.

CRUSH MODE
Power. Performance. Podium.
In the afternoon, things got serious. Crush Mode brought the tension with 25 expertly set boulders - testing power, technique, and mental game. It was a showcase of raw talent, grit, and climbing under pressure.
By finals, the energy was electric. Finalists battled it out in front of a roaring crowd for a winner-takes-all £500 cash prize in each category. Taped fingers, massive moves, deafening cheers - this was top-tier comp climbing, BlocHaus style.
