Do I need to be a student to get the student discount?
Our student offers are for current students. You will be asked to provide valid student ID when purchasing or using a student offer, so make sure you have it with you when you visit.
Do I need climbing experience to visit BlocHaus?
Not at all! Bouldering is easy to get started with, and you don't need any previous climbing experience. Our friendly team can explain everything you need to know before you start, and there are blocs for a wide range of abilities.
Do I need to bring my own climbing shoes?

What is bouldering?
Bouldering is a form of climbing on shorter walls without ropes or harnesses, with thick safety mats underneath. It's easy to try, doesn't require lots of equipment and is suitable for beginners through to experienced climbers.
Can I climb at BlocHaus if I'm completely new to climbing?
Absolutely. You can turn up as a complete beginner and give bouldering a go. We'll talk you through the basics, including how the grading system works and how to climb safely.
